Entropy: ≤ 128 bits. Bits of entropy, computed from the alphabet you chose and the length. Above 75 is comfortable for an account password.

Character sets

Some sites demand at least one digit, or two symbols. Set it here and it is guaranteed, not hoped for.

How this tool runs

There is no server-side version of this tool, so there is no choice to make and nothing to send.

Most generators offer one "symbols" switch and hand you a password full of characters some services reject. This one lets you say exactly which characters are allowed, which are banned, and how many of each kind you need, then generates it in your browser with your operating system's cryptographic randomness.
